Volunteers’ Week

16th June 2025

Volunteers’ Week takes place every June and we would like to take the opportunity to say thank you to our amazing volunteers at Stepping Stones North Wales!

Volunteers’ Week is all about volunteers and their commitment and the special work they do throughout our communities across the UK. It is a chance to really reflect, celebrate and inspire.

Volunteers’ Week allows us as an organisation to acknowledge what a crucial contribution volunteers make to the work that Stepping Stones North Wales does in our day-to-day service delivery to adult survivors /victims of childhood sexual abuse. The work of our volunteers brings hope, comfort and strength to our community. We have such an amazing team of volunteers at Stepping Stones North Wales and the impact each of you have is huge.

To each and every one of you who give your time, energy and compassion – thank you!

If you would like to join our Volunteer Team, there are so many exciting ways to get involved and make a difference! Get in contact to have a chat with us and find out more.

Pictured above is Sue Roberts, receiving her Volunteer Award at the community Volunteer Support Conwy Awards ceremony, held at the Pavilion Theatre last week. Sue is a Volunteer Mentor who supports the work of our Next Steps Survivors Activity and Friendship Group.

Sue’s time kindness and support really makes a difference.
