“Stepping Stones North Wales has changed my life and given our family hope”
Established in 1984, with 42 years’ experience of supporting adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, our services are free to access and are available across the six counties of North Wales.
We offer a range of holistic specialist services, professional counselling, psychoeducational support such as art therapy, education, wellbeing groups (along with trauma informed care to families), helping break the cycle of intergenerational effects of childhood trauma, to understand and address the effects on the family and create a healthier environment for survivors their children and future generations.

Stepping Stones North Wales secures funding to launch stepping forward outreach project during Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Week

Stepping Stones North Wales is delighted to announce that we have been awarded funding from the VAWDASV (Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence) North Wales Regional Team to deliver Stepping Forward, a new bilingual outreach and support project aimed at encouraging male survivors of childhood sexual abuse and survivors within the LGBTQ+ community to access specialist support.

If you need assistance outside of our usual working hours then please contact their free confidential helpline and live webchat which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They will provide free advice and support and take a referral for our service from anyone concerned about sexual violence or domestic abuse.
