13th October 2025

Stepping Stones North Wales is delighted to announce it has been awarded a grant from the Community & Voluntary Support Conwy (CVSC) Voluntary Sector Key Fund, part of the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund.

This vital funding will help Stepping Stones North Wales, which has a counselling room in Conwy, to continue its mission to provide free, specialist counselling and support to adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse throughout Conwy County. The grant will enable the charity to strengthen its core services, enhance outreach efforts, and ensure that more people can access the help they need to rebuild their lives.

Founded in 1984, Stepping Stones North Wales works with hundreds of survivors each year, offering trauma-informed counselling, advocacy, and wellbeing support. The charity’s work plays a crucial role in helping survivors to recover from the lasting effects of childhood sexual abuse and move forward with dignity and confidence to lead happier, healthier lives.
